The Middle East is undoubtedly a place where some of the most magical stuff in the world happens. Recently, an escaped tiger (which was probably somebody’s pet, as it had a chain around its neck) was spotted prowling along a Doha motorway.
This video was recorded by somebody sitting in a vehicle, staying well away from the jungle cat that was lurking outside his door. Luckily, by tiger standards, it was pretty small.
Middle East Eye later reported that the tiger has since been caught, and taken away in the back of a lorry… Which gave rise to this Snapchat of an Arab man and his tiger waiting by the side of the road to be picked up:

“This obsession of keeping wild animals by rich kids has gone too far.”
You’re probably correct there Sultan. These kids have way too much money and are living in a country where it’s far too easy to buy tigers.
